The d+Ai approach

‚d+Ai‘ (pronounced [diː pleɪ]) is a shorthand and stands for Digitalisation, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence.

The d+AI approach offers medium-sized businesses a systematic way to implement AI. It covers all the cornerstones of AI governance and, when applied consistently, leads users to appropriate AI governance and effective AI compliance. Blind actionism is replaced by a structured and goal-oriented approach.

The wrong way

  • Lots of ideas, no end goal
Experimenting without any connection to real-world problems, and inadequate data and cyber security
  • Costs out of control
Wild growth of licences for AI applications, API connections that are not or hardly used, exploding token costs
  • Incomplete evidence
Lack of traceability of data inputs, work steps, and quality checks of results
  • Unclear responsibilities
No one decides, no one questions, no one controls, no one says ‚stop‘.‘

The right way

  • Process-oriented goal setting
Individual criteria for process selection, measurable target definition
  • Budgeting for visible and invisible costs
In addition to the costs of licences and data, there are also expenses for governance and compliance, for example.
  • Requirements for Evidence
Detailing documentation requirements, defining workflows for their creation and retention
  • Setting roles and responsibilities
    Personalised rights and obligations

What is the status quo of your AI governance?

An assessment is often the best starting point for understanding what is specifically needed. This is what d+Ai assessments are for.
